VERNEX exists because small businesses were being asked to project-manage four suppliers to get one thing done. We decided to be all four.
01 — The story
It started with one impossible week.
A client needed a logo, a website, product photos and a laptop that would boot — all before a Monday launch. Four different people, four different timelines, one very long weekend.
We got it done, and it was obvious what the real problem was: the work was not hard, the coordination was. So VERNEX was built the other way round — one team that can take a brand from the first idea to the live site, shoot the content that fills it, promote it once it is up, and keep the machines running while it all happens.
We are small on purpose. You talk to the person doing the work, you get an answer the same day, and nothing is passed to a junior you have never met.
02 — The founder
Meet Dhanuka Akalanka.
Dhanuka started in-house as a graphic designer and content creator at GobellaTec Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, running content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube — then did the same for Uva Mountain Coffee Company.
Alongside client work, Dhanuka runs their own YouTube channels covering tech, AI, education, finance and crypto trading, has cut music videos, and built the travel site movelanka.com. VERNEX is where all of that now works under one name.

One team, start to finish
The person who designs it is in the same room as the person who builds it. Nothing gets lost in a handover, because there isn't one.
Honest about limits
Device support is software only — we never open your laptop or phone. If a job needs hardware, or someone else would do it better, we tell you.
The price you were quoted
Scope agreed in writing before we start. If something genuinely changes, we discuss it before doing it — never after, on the invoice.
