1. The service
Vernex POS is a point of sale program that you install on your computer. A paid subscription (monthly or yearly) lets you use it. By installing or signing in to the app you agree to these terms.
2. Your licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Vernex POS in your own business, on the number of computers your plan allows (one unless we agree otherwise). You may not share your licence, resell the app, copy it, or try to remove, bypass or change its licence checks.
3. Subscription, payment and access
Subscriptions are paid in advance, for 30 days (monthly) or 365 days (yearly). When a subscription ends, or when the computer has not connected to the internet for 30 days, the app locks. To unlock it, renew your subscription and connect the computer to the internet. We may switch off a licence that is shared or misused.
4. Your data
Your shop data is stored on your computer and belongs to you. A locked app does not delete it. You are responsible for keeping backups (the app has a one-click backup in the Admin panel). How we handle licence data is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. No guarantee
We work hard to make Vernex POS accurate and reliable, but it is provided as it is. You are responsible for checking your bills, stock, prices and accounts. To the extent the law allows, Vernex Digital is not liable for lost profits, lost data or other indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
6. Ending the service
You may stop at any time by not renewing. We may end a licence for breach of these terms. We may update the app and these terms; if we change the terms we will update the date above.
